Women’s needs are different and also the same as men’s. The same because both want to be happy, healthy, fit, look and feel good, and live a long and productive life. Also the same because the means of achieving these goals involves a healthy lifestyle, dieting, exercise, and the use of nutritional supplements.

Where women’s needs differ is in the details. For example men and women are more prone to certain diseases. An obvious example is breast and ovarian cancer in women and prostate and testicular cancer in men.

Differences in genetic makeup, hormones, metabolism, and a multitude of traits results in a difference in how women can achieve their specific goals. However, finding the best ways can be confusing as the amount of information available on the Internet, magazines, TV, and ubiquitous ads is overwhelming and often conflicting.

Unfortunately much of this information, regarding health, fitness weight management for women is not evidence based or even sincere, but rather commercially motivated, making it all the more difficult to put it all into perspective and filter out what is useful to you in order to achieve your goals.

That’s where I come in. On my site you’re not going to get the fluff that you see elsewhere about the best hairdo, makeup, fashion, floral arrangements, relationship advice, how to dress for any occasion, etc.

My hope is that I can help you be healthier, feel younger, manage your weight and metabolism, optimize your fitness and athletic performance, all the while helping you to improve your well-being and quality of life.

All the information will be based on making you healthier and fitter, about changing your body composition, about increasing athletic performance, and about your well being. Since I’m a medical doctor who’s practiced in general medicine, sports medicine, bariatric medicine, and psychotherapy, there will understandably be commentaries, suggestions, and advice on all these aspects.

I will provide you with ways to optimize your physical and mental health, nutrition, fitness, and athletic performance, all naturally. I’ll also do what I’ve always done, relentlessly scour new research so that I can present you with cutting edge information, information that I will integrate with what we already know so that you can be proactive about and optimize all aspects of your life.
